Massage TherapyIMG_1732.JPG

Laurie Kushnir of Alive and Well Massgae, is a graduate of the Minneapolis School of Massage and has been providing massage for over 10 years.

Laurie has training in relaxation, sport massage, pre and post-natal, trigger points, connective tissue and Swedish massage. What sets Laurie’s techniques apart from most deep tissue therapists is what she calls “muscle balancing”. Instead of concentrating only on the area that hurts (the symptom), she works on all areas (causes) that are leading to, or in opposition to, the area that is painful. In doing this there are fewer traumas to the muscle tissue that is already hurting.

Laurie’s website is www.aliveandwell.massagetherapy.com and e-mail is checked daily at aliveandwell@myabmp.com. Her hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 to 3:00. Evening hours are Monday from 5:00 to 7:30.
